I’ve never owned nor shot Elite’s flagship bows but I’m very pleased with the Basin. My youngest boy has the Ember, My oldest has the Terrain and I shoot the Basin. I love the draw cycle of the Basin. With it maxed out I can pull back with ease and it doesn't have that valley at the end which the Ember & Terrain have. I prefer the Basin for that reason. It just feels more natural to me. Its well balanced, easy to shoot and looks great in tan.

I bought the basin a year ago, I would consider myself a pretty big into hunting so I want a reliable bow. If you are looking for inexpensive and reliable bow this is the bow for you! This bow shoots fast smooth and quiet. In my opinion this is the best bow on the market.

This was my first bow. Got it for my birthday last year and have had no problems with it. Killed my first deer with a compound last weekend. It was a 8 point.
