Elite Archery’s Stacy Yoak, Danielle Woodie Podium at Foley ASA
West Henrietta, NY – 3D season kicked off on a beautiful weekend in Foley, Alabama at the first Archery Shooters Association tournament of the year, where Elite Archery’s Stacy Yoak and Danielle Woodie placed third in their respective classes.
“It was fantastic to watch our pros and amateurs compete this weekend in the first ASA and be there to witness new faces push through the talent in the field and make a name for themselves wearing Elite blue,” said pro staff manager, Darrin Christenberry. “It’s a real testament to the Shootability platform of Elite to see so many different archers in varying age groups and classes find great success utilizing such a wide variety of bows – a trend we’ll no doubt see throughout the year and years to come.”
No stranger to the pro class shootdown atmosphere, Stacy Yoak held steady in third place in the Men’s Senior Known Pro class through days one (210) and two (214). Shooting the Verdict, Yoak confidently hit each target to take third for the weekend.
Shooting the Elite Kairos in the Women’s Known Pro class, Danielle Woodie finished at 218 on day one and 212 on day two to head into the shootdown in third, alongside Elite shooter Morgan Rives shooting a Verdict in fourth. Woodie shot strong in her breakthrough performance against World Archery shooters to finish third for the tournament.
“I am thrilled with how I shot this weekend and am so grateful to have the power and reliability of the Kairos to get me to the shootdown,” Woodie said.
Qualifying for the Known Pro shootdown was Aaron Shaw, who placed fifth for the weekend with his Verdict, and , Lewie Holmes, shooting the Ethos, finished in 8th. Shooting in the Open Pro class, Jacob Marlow finished 11th, while Doug Kyle finished 10th in Senior Known Pro, and Keith Ahlstrom finished 10th in Senior Pro.
